Production Update

I should have made this blog a lot sooner than I did since so much has already happened so I'll give a quick update.

The script was written by myself and I went through several drafts before I found the final story. It concerns a young man who still lives at home, that is stabbed on his way home from the shop in an alleyway after he witnesses another man being murdered. The man awakes in purgatory, the space between heaven and hell/limbo and meets a young woman who is death. She tells him that he can have anything he wants if he stays with her and takes the key from her and opens the door with the key.

When she leaves, another woman appears who looks like her but is her other half, life or mortality and tries to convince Mark to do the right thing which is go back and prevent the stabbings of him and the other man.

After the script was written we set out about casting and we cast the roles of Mark and Death, being played by a man called Gareth and a girl called Louise. Filming is scheduled for the 9th and 12th April. We plan to shoot the indoor scenes on one day and the outdoor scenes on another.

Tomorrow, the 19th March me and the production team will be having a rehearsal and we will run through the script to see what works and tidy the script up.

I will give another update when we finish the rehearsal.
